How To Style A Country Wedding

Modern Wedding Posted: April 4, 2018

Country weddings are all about rustic details and textures, vintage motifs, well worn decor and floral touches. To create the most dreamy countryside romance, here are our top styling tips.

The Venue

The venue sets the tone for the whole day, so if you are dreaming of a countryside romance make sure to pick the venue to match.

The Dress

A ballgown won't really work with this wedding theme, so go for a classic silhouette to match the simplistic theme for the day.

Flowers

A country wedding is the perfect chance to go wild with the flowers. We love choosing blooms found around the venue to suit the theme implicitly.

The Ceremony

A ceremony set in the gorgeous country surrounds, paired with an altar wound with seasonal blooms screams countryside romance.

The Cake

A naked cake with topped with flowers or fruit is a simple and classic choice.

The Reception

Make the most of the venue and dine al fresco. A canopy adorned with fairy or festoon lighting is the most perfect way to enjoy the rolling hills and manicured lawns of your rural venue.

Table Settings

Keep it simple, menus and lashings of flowers are all you need. If you want to add a touch of luxe, gold cutlery is a classic and sweet touch.

Nature Made

To accessorise the day, add a few DIY touches like welcome signs or photo frames.
