Invitations
Your wedding invitations set the tone, mood and theme of your wedding and will also be the first impression for your guests - so make sure you choose wisely! Invitations aren't just stock standard anymore. You’ll be astounded at the range of possibilities. Get creative and consider the endless palette of colours and designs.
Start by finding inspiration and collecting images of invitations that you love and don't limit yourself by searching for invitations only! Create a mood board on pinterest or a scrapbook and save colour swatches, paper, ribbons, flowers, fonts or anything that inspires you for your wedding. Then take your ideas to a stationer who can fine tune your ideas into your dream invitation. You can even now custom create your invites through various online companies or choose from countless ready-made or pre-cut designs! Keep your wedding style on point by making sure you carry your invitation theme into your wedding decor and wedding stationery!
Don't forget to keep your etiquette in check! Envelopes should be addressed with the receiver’s title (eg. Mr P Green) and where you are unsure of a woman’s title, ‘Ms’ is always a safe bet. Also be sure to print your return address on the back of the envelope so you’ll know if any invitations don’t reach their destination.
