It continually amazes me the emotion that can be captured on camera. The wedding of Ana and Luke is no exception. Their wedding was captured by the amazing Michael Martin of MM Photos. When he sent me this beautiful wedding it gave me the warm and fuzzies... it could have been the elegance of the couple; the beautiful details in the shots, the intimate moments or possibly the candid smiles, whatever it was I wanted to share with you and hopefully make you smile too:)
The wedding was planned around the theme 'Elegance, but lots of fun' and with a colour scheme of black and white with a splash of red. So with a striking palette and a bridal party of 12(!) the couple organised a swish event and made dancing and partying the main attraction... after them of course!
"We walked in, cut our cake, had the toast and then our first dance ... we kicked off the reception as a party and the rest of the night was filled with dancing, drinking and having fun," Ana tells us.
Despite living three long car-ride hours away from each other, this in-love couple decided they couldn't turn their back on what was undeniable, that they were meant to be. They gave their long distance relationship their 'all'... and successfully it would seem.
This long-distance affair was about to be put to an end...
One brisk winter's day Luke took Ana for a bushwalk to Dudley beach. Snuggling into each other and overlooking the ocean they daydreamed about what it would be like living together finally. This was when Luke suprised Ana with a beautiful ring and asked her to marry him. They began their journey to marriage... and a wonderful wedding.
Congratulations guys and thanks so much for sharing it with us!
