Working in the event Industry, Tara had no suspicions when Nick asked her to come along with him to a site inspection at Shark Island for a client. Once they got to the Island, there was no one there, just a marquee, a bottle of champagne and lunch for two. When Tara turned around, Nick was down on one knee and asked her to marry him.
Following this unforgettable proposal, we just knew their wedding would be spectacular – and we were not wrong!
Tara looked breathtaking in a Leah Da Gloria gown. Knowing she wanted a full lace dress with a contemporary feel, Tara says ‘Leah was great in bringing to life exactly what I wanted” Complementing this, Tara’s Bridesmaid’s wore navy dresses with similar lace in the bodice.
Tara and Nick held their ceremony at St Mary’s Church, which was the church Tara was baptised in, and had their marriage officiated by the priest that baptised Nick. Moving to Dockside for their reception, Tara and Nick said they wanted a contemporary, romantic garden theme. With the help of Party Hire Group, the room was transformed with floral trusses and Ivy that lit up their custom built dance floor.
When asked about their favourite part of the day, Tara and Nick both agreed it was seeing each other at the Church for the first time.
