Colour is certainly making it's way back into our wardrobes this spring, and with all the sunshine today it felt like the perfect opportunity to share a little something special. This divine fashion shoot from an amazing team, led by Amy Oram of Teeki is a breath of fresh air, with the fun pops of colour, streaming rays of sunshine and crisp white paper lanterns hung among the trees. I wanted to share it the minute I saw it, but I decided to save it until a perfect spring day, so it could be as wonderful a treat as possible! I love how fashion, flowers and fun are the focus - what perfect colour inspiration for your big day, bridesmaids, flowers or a stylish bridal shower.
You can practically feel the warm sun on your skin and smell the freshly cut flowers! Designer Amy Oram of Teeki said "With spring in the air I wanted to show that there is no need to be afraid of a little colour. Peachy/coral is a popular colour this season! It looks great on so many people and a style like this is great for different body shapes which is a problem faced by most brides choosing dresses to suit all their maids. This dress is also great at cocktail length if you're getting hitched in the peak summer months of the year or don't want quite so much colour in the dress... its an easy way to break it up with some great heels to complement it!"
Amy believes everyone can make colour work for them. "Through accessories like the bouquet you can make the colour really pop by picking something bright or choose to tone it down by having a creamy white bouquet of elegance with some hints of green." She can't speak highly enough of her team on the day. "We had such a great team to work with! Everyone was filled with such motivation and enthusiasm which makes for a relaxed and enjoyable shoot. So much talent was there to be showcased and it all came together so well - I couldn't be happier with the results."
And her desire in creating this beautiful shoot? "I wish to inspire colour and creativity in the minds of brides. Be bold and brave and embrace the brights to reflect the nature of spring in full bloom!" she says emphatically, and she means it. Teeki's beautiful handmade designs are created with individual brides in mind, always unique, always fresh and always stylish.
