Introducing… The Bridal Shoot

Do you ever look at the bridal fashion editorials online and in magazines and think 'I want to look like that...' ? Take it from those in the business - these shoots take time, planning and plenty of beauty prep and touch ups! The point is although you will look beautiful on your wedding day and your wedding photos will be beautiful there actually isn't a lot of time to focus on those high fashion style photos. In between family photos, bridal party photos and getting to the reception there simply isn't the luxury to play around with each shot as one would do on a bridal fashion shoot. Your wedding dress is also likely to be the most expensive dress you will wear (ever!) so it makes sense to capture it in all its glory more than once...

Today we're introducing you to the 'bridal shoot' offered exclusively by Amber Johnson Photography. You've all heard of the 'engagement shoot', but the 'bridal shoot' may be a new concept for you. 'The bridal shoot can be before or after the wedding, but I find it is the perfect opportunity to have a stylish boudoir photo shoot prior to the wedding when brides are in the best shape of their lives,' says Amber of Amber Johnson Photography. 'The shoot can be organised to work in with hair and make-up trials or make-up and hair can be organised at an additional fee.' Amber works with brides on the theme, styling and location to create beautiful, natural portraits with an editorial feel. 'It's a perfect way to get to know your photographer before the wedding and to get awesome portraits in a relaxed setting,' she says. As well as taking some of the stress out of the wedding day, the images can be that perfect gift from the bride to her groom.
