It will be the most special day in many people's lives and it takes an equally special set of skills and talent to make it all happen. We had a chat with the team about the steps they take when making wedding dreams come true!

Meeting The Couple
The most important part of the planning process is the initial meeting. The time when the bride and groom sit across the table and tell the MY Event Design team what they envision for their big day. It is the day, when the journey to the alter begins. It is very important to remember that time is the most precious and essential aspect when planning a wedding. For a wedding, the initial meeting should take place at least 6 - 9 months in advance, because, as you can imagine, many things can change from the conceptual phase to the actual wedding date. It's also worth noting that feeling comfortable with the planning team is crucial; this is a team that you are insuring one of your most important milestones in your life.

Research, research and more research!
At MY Event Design, no detail is spared, that is why the Creative Director, Majeda Kassir Bisharat, and the team works very hard to capture every detail of the couple's vision. From set and scenery design, floral design, entertainment, lights and sound to tablescapes, table runners, napkins and cutlery every detail has to be in place.

Finding The Perfect Venue
After getting a good idea of what the couple is looking for, the team starts working on finding the venue for the special day. It is very important for the bride and groom to be included in this process, because they need to be comfortable with the space, even if the space is going to be transformed.

Creating A Visual
After a location is chosen, the team starts mocking up a 2D drawing followed by a render of what the event floor plan will look like, to walk the couple step by step through what to expect. It is important for the clients to feel comfortable with the flow of the space, because after all, they want to ensure the best experience for themselves and their guests.

The team at MY Event Design is well aware that planning a wedding can be very overwhelming for all parties involved, that is why it is crucial to keep in mind the end goal.
