Newcastle Museum offers four breathtaking spaces for you to host a truly unique wedding.

McIntyre Theatrette: Hold your wedding ceremony in our Theatrette with its beautiful exposed brick walls and arched windows. You can tailor a unique and amazing wedding ceremony and create a theme and decorations with your personal touch. This room is also equipped with a giant screen, high–quality digital projector and audio sound equipment.

Link Gallery: With its rugged detailed brickwork, arched windows and soaring ceiling, this light and spacious room is perfect for your wedding reception. Whether a cocktail–style or formal seated dinner, you can transform this space into a grand destination. Imagine soft fairy lights and elaborate centrepieces presented beautifully. You can bring a band or DJ, create a dance floor, have fun with a photo booth or lolly bar, or set-up a drinks station...let your imagination run wild.

BHP Gallery: The BHP Gallery is a fascinating and unique location for your wedding reception as you will be surrounded by industrial steel making objects and images. If you like things a little quirky, why not design your celebrations to revolve around these big objects inside the gallery, which is fantastic for small to medium sized groups. As a bonus, your guests can witness the spectacular BHP Sound & Light Show.

Earthball: The Earth Ball will take your breath away. You can make this your personalised location, with your guests sipping champagne on arrival and eating exquisite canapés. Receptions under the Earth Ball look magnificent as an intimate seated dining affair. But what works best in this extravagant setting is a cocktail style party – you can bring your favourite band, create beautiful themes and have your first wedding dance together surrounded by the magic luminous atmosphere of the suspended Earth Ball.
