Doltone House 'Hyde Park' is the latest CBD addition to the stunning collection of venues operated by the Doltone House Group. Leading architect Koichi Takada was appointed to complete the interior design refurbishment to complement the Doltone House venue signature.
The stunning features include a sweeping spiral staircase of double stitched black leather, gold mirrors and intricate tiling creating a luxe interior, along with purpose made unique crystal chandeliers representing a modern interpretation of old-world glamour in the main ballroom.
The Hyde Park Ballroom blends heritage features of the grand five metre high arched windows with uninterrupted views of Sydney's Hyde Park, directly adjacent to the 5-star Sheraton on The Park Hotel, three stunning sandstone fireplaces, with a dramatic contrast of black and gold highlights. The use of rich black and metallic tones is offset with neutral creams to give a fresh, clean and unquestionably sophisticated elegance. It is superbly located within a prestigious sector of Sydney's CBD precinct and exclusive retail outlets.
Doltone House emphasises their culinary focus with renowned celebrity chef James Kidman leading and directing their kitchens. Kidman's experience is broad. Eight years as Executive Chef at Otto Ristorante, Executive Chef at the National Gallery of Australia and the Sculpture Garden Restaurant with accolades that cover awards from Best Restaurant to recognitions by Gourmet Traveller and SMH hats.
