After meeting through mutual friends, Victoria and Clinton knew that this was a love that would last a lifetime. Following a tropical paradise proposal, the couple chose beautiful Noosa for their coastal luxe wedding.
THE FIRST AND THE LAST
Victoria and Clinton met at a friend's house, and from then, they knew this was something special. "Everything felt perfect. We were glued to the hip and did everything together" says Victoria. "He was the first guy I really liked and the last".
A TROPICAL DREAM
Whilst holidaying in Nusa Lembongan, Indonesia, Clinton surprised Victoria with a proposal she would never forget. With candles, flower petals, and a romantic floral bath, Clinton spelled out 'Will you marry me?' and the rest in history. Victoria describes the proposal as magical and the tropical setting inspired their wedding theme.
ON THE WATERFRONT
"We had envisioned a coastal luxe feel so it was very 'Noosa' and it all came together amazingly". The day took place at Noosa's Waterfront Restaurant and was captured by Trent & Jessie Photographers. When asked about her photographers, Victoria explained "We fell in love with their work and met them before for burgers. They are awesome!"
MADE FOR HER
When choosing her dream gown, Victoria was swept away by Made with Love designs, and customised her gown to include long laces sleeves, a lower back and additional ruching. The gown featured a sensual floral lace and a delicate long train. Standing by her side throughout the day was Victoria's sister and maid of honour, who wore a beautiful moody blue silk gown.
A SPOT OF FUN
Clinton was supported throughout the day by his brother and best man, both sporting a relaxed style of cream chinos, white shirts and navy blazers. The final touch of detail was a polka dot bow tie and socks for a little bit of fun!
MOVING TO DUSK
The ceremony took place in the gardens of the venue, standing in front of a beautiful white wooden frame with strong greenery and crisp white roses. The day perfectly captured a minimalist and timeless look, taking place late afternoon to capture the twinkle of the slowly setting sun.
GREEN AND WHITE
The colour theme of natural greens, sharp whites and bold woods carried into the reception with a classic sit down dinner. The tables featured vines of greenery and white florals with small pieces of wood used as place settings for the guests. Following Italian inspired canapés in the garden, family and friends joined together for a decadent Italian style sit down dinner.
THE FINER DETAILS
All guests were later gifted with tropical candles with the couples names printed on the boxes. The cake featured a chocolate drip, clusters of macaroons and a few bright and bold flowers for decoration.
MR AND MRS GUEST
Future plans for the couple include starting a family, lots of tropical getaways and enjoying the house that they have built together. Some final words of wisdom from the bride and groom..."Plan in bits and pay off in bits. Our wedding planning experience was very exciting and calm because we didn't rush anything"
