T A L I N & A N T O N
Talin and Anton were surrounded by glitz and glamour on their special day, tying the knot at the spectacular Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf venue. The extravagant event featured an array of shimmering chandeliers, crisp white florals and the ultimate grand entrance!
Your Love Takes Me High...
The couples engagement took place during a perfect day out together. After the groom proposed, he surprised his bride with a magical helicopter ride over Sydney. Following the scenic adventure, the couple arrived at the harbourside suburb of Rose Bay where they enjoyed a romantic and intimate celebratory lunch at the restaurant Catalina.
Global Ideas...
"Overseas weddings have grand entrances and everything is grand and that's what we wanted our wedding to be" the couple explained. This idea is what sparked the inspiration behind the couples big day. "We didn't want it to be another wedding. We wanted it to be a wedding to remember".
A King And His Queen...
The ceremony took place at the couples local church. The bride made a grand entrance along a red carpet, before floating down the aisle to her groom. Tears of baby's breath were placed along the aisle, with the glass stained windows and gold interior being the main focus of the venue. After the traditional crowning of the bride and grown, the newlyweds left the church dancing to the rhythmic drums and releasing white doves.
A Grand Design...
The bride was dressed in a custom designed Steven Khalil gown. The gown was in-keeping with the grand wedding theme and focused on showcasing the brides personality. The ballgown silhouette was joined by a scattering of three-dimensional florals, cascading over the bodice and down the lengthy train. The off the shoulder detail and sweetheart neckline added a further elegant element which suited the bride perfectly. The full length veil was also completed with matching florals, and the look finished with an extravagant jewelled headpiece.
Pretty In Pink...
The couples bridal party consisted of their closest family members. The bridesmaids were each styled in elegant floor length baby pink gowns. Decorated with a shimmering one sleeve detail, the bridal party was a vision of opulence. Talin was also joined by an adorable flower girl, dressed in a spectacular gown created to match the bride.
Dashing Fashion...
Anton was joined by four family members as his groomsmen. Each matching with the groom, they were dressed in dapper black tuxedos. A soft and simple element was brought to the look with a soft pink floral, matching beautifully with the bridesmaids. The couple and their bridal party were lucky enough to get to stroll along Jones Bay Wharf for their wedding photos, providing a beautiful backdrop of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
The Doltone Dream Team...
The elegant wedding reception took place at the magical Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf venue. The couple were assisted by the experienced team of the venue to give them the wedding of their dreams. "Paul and his team at Doltone House were exceptional and went beyond expectations to create everything we wanted. They worked with all our suppliers to make things happen with such ease. We couldn't be more thankful." the couple tells us.
A Magical Scene...
The decor was delicately designed to create a romantic and intimate space. Sparkling detail dangled from the ceiling, creating a cast of glimmer over the room. The subtle lighting created a magical glow, perfectly setting the mood for the night. Florals featured crisp white tones and subtle baby's breath greenery which showcased a classic and timeless look.
The Newlywed Entrance...
Each table throughout the venue featured an elaborate floral feature filled with baby's breath and delicate white flowers. The couple completed their opulent design with a staircase where they were able to make their grand entrance. The area was surrounded by white candles, soft florals and dazzling chandelier detail. "The stairs created the entrance of the grand international wedding that I dreamt of" the bride explained.
A Decadent Feast...
The event was catered by the team from Doltone House, providing an array of dishes for each and every guest to enjoy. From barbecue options to decadent seafood, the spread was sensational! The couple and their guests also indulged in a stunning seven tier cake, decorated with frosted white florals.
Dancing The Night Away...
The couple, surrounded by family and friends, danced the night away in celebration. Traditional Arabic drummers created a soundtrack for the evening, with lively dancing keeping the celebrations going all night long.
Lessons Learnt...
When it comes to planning the perfect wedding day, Anton and Talin certainly have some wise words to share. "When planning, go with someone you can relate to. Choose well known suppliers that you can trust. It helps when you can put your stress and worries to the professionals. Try to enjoy the planning and not stress over everything."
