Jacqui & Kieran were married on the 11th November 2012. After 11 months planning they joined together with 120 family and friends to celebrate at Dockside Group's L'Aqua venue in Cockle Bay.

The Meeting...
We met at a mutual friend's 21st birthday party in 2005, although we went to schools nearby, we knew each other's friends, but we had never met before that night.
The Ceremony...
St Francis Xavier Church
The Wedding...
I had a lot of fun perusing Pinterest and other blogs and came across a few different themes that I loved. I couldn't decide on only one of these themes, so I thought why not combine them? From that, evolved a 'Shabby-chic, vintage garden' theme.
I couldn't have imagined our day to be any more perfect. It felt like a dream! From having my hair and makeup done with all my best girlfriends and family, to being picked up in some very cool vintage cars, taken to the church to find my handsome (now) husband standing at the altar. Then arriving at L'Aqua for one big party with all our favourite people. It was perfect.
Colour Scheme...
Teal, gold and pink
The Dress...
Designer named Jane Hill - French Lace and silk fitted fishtail gown, with a crystal belt and hair comb purchased off 'Etsy - Glamhouse Bridal Couture'. I also had a 'Going away' dress, which was a rose gold Rachel Gilbert dress.
The bridesmaids wore light grey floor length gowns by 'Bari Jay', with beaded cap sleaves and belt. Beaded headbands from 'Glamhouse Bridal Couture' on Etsy.
Hair & Makeup...
Makeup by Jessica Tiller
Photographer...

Stationery...
Being a graphic designer - I designed all the stationary including the invitations, the menus, the placecards as well as the tags to go on the bonbonniere.
Bomboniere...
I chose votive candle holders in 4 different designs, to match the Gold and teal colour scheme. I bought these off an American website called 'Lunar Bazaar' and had them shipped over here which proved to be very cost effective. Having an Italian background we also gave sugar coated almonds to our guests in cute laser cut boxes.
Cake...
Van Mae's cakes created our cake, an elegant tier cake with ivory icing and a lovely bunch of bright pink peonies on top.
Flowers...
Best Buds florists provided our florals for the day. My bridesmaids and myself had bouquets of Peonies. Mine was a mix of light pink and cream peonies, and my bridesmaids had mid-pink peonies which worked really well with their silver dresses. I also had mid pink peonies and ivory weaved around the tops of each birdcage as a centrepiece to create a lovely garden feel. The bridal table was covered in a mix of mid pink peonies and greenery. I also hired topiary trees covered in fairy lights which were placed behind the bridal table and on the balcony.
The Honeymoon...
We spent 15 lovely days in Hawaii. We spent a couple of days in Oahu shopping, and then onto Maui and The big Island for some relaxation.
