Rachel and Jacob first met as teenagers. A harbour side engagement set the scene for a coastal celebration, filled to the brim with fun and family.
High School Sweethearts
"We were both elected to be school prefects in Year 11 and met at the leadership camp", recalls Rachel. "We started to get to know each other and found we took every moment of one another’s company and before long we were dating and making new memories and having fun adventures".
A Coastal Celebration
The couple wed in a heartfelt ceremony at Mona Vale Anglican Church. The bride chose a fit and flare style gown, paired with a bouquet of peonies, lisianthus, roses and baby blue eucalyptus leaves. To compliment her stunning bridal look, the decor of the day was dotted with shades of baby blue, rose gold and white. "The style of the wedding was a mix of modern, rustic and elegant," says Rachel.
In keeping with the theme, each of Rachel's bridesmaids' wore dust blue, knee length dresses, whilst the groom and his groomsmen all wore blue suits and spotty socks.
"Every moment of the day was so special but the most memorable moments were when I was walking down the aisle toward Jacob".
By The Seaside
After tying the knot, the couple celebrated in style with family and friends seaside at Zest at the Spit in Mosman. Guests enjoyed an afternoon tea and cocktails followed by a lavish three course meal. Hurricane lanterns, eucalyptus table runners and vases of baby's- breath turned the venue into a seaside oasis. A delicious wedding cake made by the bride's sister gave the couple's guests energy to party long into the night.
"We love looking over our wedding photos, each time we look at our photos we feel all the emotions of the day all over again and it’s an amazing feeling."
