Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have finally tied the knot with an intimate ceremony in Windsor, and we are in awe of their special day!
The Happy Couple...
After announcing their Italian engagement in September last year, the pair were happily married in private on Friday the 17th of July, after having to postpone their original nuptials in May. After a long 9 month wait, they have finally been able to become husband and wife and share their beautiful photos with us all! You can read more about their magical engagement story here...
The Big Day...
The closed ceremony was held at Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor. The newlyweds gave us a peek of their magical day with a few classic wedding pictures. The photos are giving us some serious secret garden theme vibes, and we are in love with the floral designs.
The Guests...
Although the wedding was private, it was nothing short of a fairytale. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip both attended, along with the parents and siblings of the bride and groom.
The Dress...
We all got a glimpse of Princess Beatrice's wedding dress which met all royal expectations! The glamourous dress is a vintage design, made from Peau De Soie taffeta and designer Norman Hartnell. In a twist of tradition, the gown was borrowed from the Queen herself. The dress was altered and modified to suit Princess Beatrice's style and well, she truly looked like a princess! Following royal tradition, the bride also wore a classic veil to complement her ivory gown.
Something Borrowed...
Of course, the bride's something borrowed was straight from the Queen's tiara closet! Princess Beatrice chose to wear a tiara which is very close to Queen Elizabeth's heart, as a tribute to her Grandmother. The immaculate tiara is the same one she wore on her own wedding to Prince Phillip in 1947.
