In our efforts to bring you the latest in bridal decorating and styling, we put a lot of effort into setting up styled scenarios that show you how to create a wedding that is unique. We couldn't think of a better location than Summerlees at Sutton Forest to create our beautiful enchanted country wedding story. We had all the right ingredients -- our models, hair/make up stylist, wedding decorator, photographer, shoot assistants and, to top it off, great weather.
Thanks to You Film It, who let us loose with their cameras to try out their new do-it-yourself video service, we are able to show you what goes into putting such a story together. Before the shoot, Jake from You Film It gave us a brief run down on how the cameras work. We were surprised how simple it is. On the day, and armed with the latest pro video cameras, we all had a go filming. Despite having the whole day to shoot, we had to work fast, moving quickly from one set-up to another. James, our photographer, in raptures over the beautiful light at dusk and how it filtered through the rows of magnificent old pines, didn't waste a moment capturing every little detail. And wow, do those night shots look magical! Amongst all the orchestrated chaos, and perhaps with a little luck, the final result was a bewitching vision full of romance and enchanting detail. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we did creating it.
It was so easy at the end of the day to hand the cameras back to Jake for editing. That is the beauty of the You Film It service. They edit the footage add titles, special effects and background music (which you can select if you want to.)
