These DIY projects are all about love - whether it's love for your fiancee or a celebration of love at your wedding. They're super simple and destined to melt hearts. Personalise with your own messages of love, colours and textures.
LOVE POCKETS
Make small embossed pouches with a surprise message and place in your love's lunch bag or brief case. Pouches have been made by first embossing sheets of paper with the Stampin' Up Perfect Polka Dot Embosser and templates are cut with the Stampin' Up Big Shot using the Petite Pocket Dies.
The pouches are finally assembled by gluing edges together with double-sided tape. All materials are available from www.stampinup.com.au
HEART DRINK STIRRERS
Decorate drinks or cocktails with pretty, colourful drink stirrers. Start by cutting off the pointy end of bamboo skewers. Cut out heart shapes - you will need two hearts per skewer - and glue two of the shapes together with a skewer running through the centre. Tie a piece of lace underneath the heart and place a bunch of the finished stirrers in a decorative jar at the bar for guests to use.
CUPCAKE PASSION
It is often said that the best things come in the smallest packages. The almighty cupcake puts a smile on every face and tempts even the strongest will. Just enough to satisfy those sweet cravings, cupcakes are the perfect tasty treat.
A CARD WITH HEART
Communicate your love in ways that express your creativity. Select scrap booking paper or similar that has romantic text on it and cut out the card. Crease through the centre using a bone folder. Draw a heart shape outline in pencil on the front. Colour in the heart with a red watercolour pencil. Dampen your finger with a little water and rub it over the pencil lines. The water dissolves the pencil to give you a hand-painted effect.
