True love blossomed after this gorgeous duo's first kiss. When it came to celebrate, they wanted a relaxed, romantic and genuine day surrounded by their family and friends.
Outdoor elegance...
"We wanted an outdoor ceremony surrounded by trees in a garden or a park and a contemporary, elegant reception at a beautiful modern venue", explains Anna. The couple wed in the gorgeous Centennial Park, followed by partying the night away at the Centennial Homestead.
Candid memories...
The couple were looking for a photographer that could capture the genuine, heartfelt and candid moments of their big day, and entrusted wedding photographer Lisa Thompson Photography with capturing these special moments. "We loved her candid style and she made us feel very comfortable when we met her and even more so on the day", Anna recalls.
Summer inspired shades...
The couple opted for a relaxed style for the day. Each of Anna's bridesmaids walked down the aisle with bouquets of seasonal white and pink blooms, complete with lashings of foliage. The bride followed her girls, in a stunning two piece set.
"My favourite moment of the day was when I was walking down the isle and saw Aidan’s face. He was smiling and looked really happy and I instantly relaxed."
Good wine and great company...
Once wed, the couple indulged in an opulent feast of pan seared salmon, rump beef and berry pavlova. And what wedding would be complete without a charcuterie station and dessert table!
And the couples one tip to newly engaged couples... "Don’t stress – it all comes together on the day and make sure to eat your meal!"
