The Playford, MGallery by Sofitel is located in the heart of Adelaide at 120 North Terrace.

The Playford is part of Accor’s MGallery by Sofitel Collection and is a boutique, 5-star AAA accredited Hotel.
WHAT SPACES ARE AVAILABLE FOR WEDDINGS?
We have a range of private function rooms available, located on Level One of the Hotel.
For Wedding Receptions our Adelaide Rooms can seat a maximum of 60 guests with a Bridal Table and dance floor while the Playford Ballroom can seat a maximum of 270 guests with a Bridal Table and dance floor.
Both of these rooms can split down into three individual rooms, therefore the space can be altered according to the number of guests attending the Wedding.
The Adelaide Rooms and the Playford Ballroom both feature natural light with gold leafed walls and hand crafted chandeliers and the Ballroom also boasts balcony access overlooking North Terrace.
Level One is a dedicated function floor with its own fully serviced kitchen and bar areas. There is also male, female and disabled bathrooms and lift access from the ground floor.

Preparing a proposal can be made easy – imagine a beautiful dinner and proposal in the opulent surrounds of the Playford Restaurant or within one of our luxury accommodation rooms. We can even assist with arranging champagne, chocolates, candles and flowers.
Engagement parties can be as lavish or low key as required, with Afternoon Tea package, Cocktail Reception packages and sit-down dinner packages available.
For the Wedding Day itself we can host the Wedding Ceremony and Reception all onsite so that guests simply arrive and depart from the one location. Discounted room hire rates apply for when both events are booked at the Hotel.
Whilst our Wedding Reception packages aim to cover the needs of a range of clients, we can also tailor these according to their requirements. As a South Australian family owned and operated Hotel, our General Manager is based onsite and works with our dedicated Wedding Coordinator on a daily basis.
We offer a range of Wedding Packages from our Ultimate Wedding Package which is all-inclusive, through to our Cocktail Wedding Package as a more budget conscious option. In between we also have our Trilogy, Gold and Silver Packages which offer a range of features across different price levels.
The Playford also offers exclusive Wedding Reward Dollars. If eligible, you can receive a credit to put towards enhancing your Wedding Day!

DO YOU OFFER ON-SITE ACCOMODATION?
The Hotel offers 182 accommodation rooms from guestrooms to suites. Guestrooms include Standard, Playford and Deluxe Guestrooms then leading to our Studio Spa Suites and signature New York style Loft Suites. Our suites also have the option of an added upgrade to North Terrace facing, with our North Terrace facing Loft Suites individually themed.
The Playford can assist with accommodation for the Wedding Night, groups for interstate and overseas travellers and pre and post Wedding accommodation requirements. For guests who are attending a Wedding in-house, discounted rates are extended and can be booked directly with our Reservations Department.
All guests have access to the Hotel facilities including 24 hour fully equipped gymnasium with indoor heated pool, spa and sauna, business centre, guest laundry and room service. We also offer 24 hour Front Desk and Concierge facilities who can assist with your every need and our car parking facilities are located onsite with self and valet parking options available.

HOW DO YOU GET TO THE VENUE?
Based on North Terrace, the Hotel is located on the tram line and across from Adelaide Railway Station. We are also within easy access to all other forms of public transport including private transfers, taxi’s and bus services. Alternatively we offer a car parking facility onsite with self and valet parking options.
The Playford is conveniently located in the CBD on the prestigious North Terrace; offering access to a hub of shopping and restaurants all within walking distance.
