Today we have a little treat from our friends at Life, Love & Light Images and Circle of Love Weddings. Their 'Floating Blooms of Luxury' shoot caught our eye straight away, and we know that you'll be inspired for a romantic wedding ceremony too! The girls at Life, Love & Light Images and Circle of Love Weddings share what inspired them below...
Most commonly associated with children's birthday parties and junior high dances, balloons may not seem like the most elegant choice for wedding decor, but we think nothing makes a plain old balloon more wedding-worthy than the seasonal colours of spring, beautiful ivory and a peach finish. It seems we're not the only ones, giant balloons are taking centre stage and couples are finding all kinds of creative ways to incorporate them into their wedding day. Today, we're sharing a few of our favourites.
This was our photo shoot that we did to showcase luxury wedding styling with floating blooms at Newstead Park in Brisbane. Our inspiration: fun and flirty!
No doubt the blush pastel color tones have been the most popular colour trend this year. You can see why, it is subtle, timeless and elegant. This style shoot was all that and more. The ceremony was beautifully styled with a soft ivory toned fabric canopy, adorned lavishly with white and ivory florals. A rose petal path leads the bride to her groom where the luxury white canopy was staged under a huge luscious ancient tree. The pastel neutral tones worked exceptionally well in this open garden surrounded with lush trees & natural beauty.
Special attention to detail is a MUST for weddings. We blended the whites, ivories and blush hues to produce an elegant color combination. Lace fabric added a unique dimension to the entrance columns with our crystal candelabras full of lavish blush flowers. The floral crystal boxes that lined both sides of the aisle added that finishing touch.
But what I believe was the perfect addition to this glamorous luxury wedding - the customised ivory silk tiffany chair overlays! They were absolutely exquisite! Luxury glamour was infused at every turn, including the floating blooms which added that little bit of simplicity to this extravagant styling piece.
They say if you want to take things up a notch and be different this year, why not add giant balloons to your big day? Whether carried on their own, tied with tissue tassels, or bunched together, they're sure to add that touch of wow-factor that you're looking for. Our bride today carried her pastel tone floating blooms down the aisle instead of a traditional bouquet. Not only do they create a wedding with a difference, these floating blooms created divine romantic, fun and flirty pictures afterwards.
Sometimes it's the smallest things that can have the biggest impact. While looking at the big picture is important, remember to pay attention to the details too.
