Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
An obvious choice for our list, this royal affair was easily the celebrity wedding of the year. Tying the knot on May 19 in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding was broadcast globally. Royal commentators and fans waited in anticipation to see Meghan's dress and the elegant Givenchy dress did not disappoint. Many commentators noted that this wedding broke many royal wedding traditions. We were excited for the iconic newlywed balcony kiss, but these small breaks in tradition made this royal wedding one to remember.
Kit Harington and Rose Leslie
On screen romance turned real life wedding, Game of Thrones fans were thrilled to see all their favourites turn up to watch Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie wed. Taking place in Aberdeenshire, Scotland on June 23, Rose looked elegant in a long sleeve lace gown. This celebrity wedding had many thoughtful and romantic touches. A highlight was guests lining the pat outside the church and showering the newlyweds with flower petal confetti as they left the ceremony. Rumours have been flying all year about the possibility of a Game of Thrones themed wedding. While the couple did not do this, they did include a cheeky nod to the show that brought them together on their wedding invitations. Every invite included a stamp featuring Kit as John Snow.
Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook
What made Big Bang star Kaley Cuoco's wedding stand out is her and husband, Karl Cook's commitment to their theme. Karl is a professional equestrian, so it only made sense that their June 30 wedding would be set in a horse stable in San Diego, with the wedding theme tying in directly with the venue. From a horse shoe shaped alter to wooden board inner plates to extravagant floral arrangements, this wedding was a lavish affair. The couple made the most of their shared initials, incorporating KC² monogramming wherever possible. Kaley's wedding gown was stunning, but the real highlight was the lace jumpsuit she wore to the reception. We think Kaley was ahead of the trend, with bridal jumpsuits set to be a big trend of 2019. Karlie Kloss and Josh Kushner
This may have been one of the quieter weddings of 2018, but we are big fans of Karlie Kloss and Josh Kushner's wedding. Saying "I do" on October 18, surrounded by less than 100 of their closest friends and family, the couple shared news of their wedding via Instagram. Supermodel Karlie stole the show in a beautiful custom lace Dior gown. Having released snippets of their wedding and honeymoon through Instagram posts and stories, the couple looked overwhelmingly happy. If you can't get enough of wedding, then we have good news. Karlie and Josh are planning a bigger celebration in 2019 and you can be sure it will be one to remember.
Mandy Moore and Taylor Goldsmith
One of the most recent celebrity weddings of the year, we are still obsessing over Mandy Moore and Taylor Goldsmith's wedding. The couple married on November 18 at a small, private wedding in Los Angeles. With some serious boho vibes, the big surprise of this wedding was the wedding gown. The pale pink gown with a tiered tulle skirt and floral detailing was delicate and spectacular. If you ever needed a look to convince you to sidestep the traditional bridal gown, this is it.
