D E B & Y U R I
F R O M T H E B R I D E ...
The Meeting...
We met through a mutual friend who happened to be Deb's housemate. He was the best man at the wedding.
The Proposal...
After 5-6 unsuccessful attempts and carrying the ring in his pocket for 3 months, Yuri finally picked the right moment to propose at a vineyard in the Victorian Highlands.
Wedding Style...
We wanted a simple outdoor wedding close to home.
Wedding Ceremony Venue...
Busby Reserve in Centennial Parklands.
Wedding Reception Venue...
Centennial Parklands restaurant.
Wedding Dress...
I wore a Karen Willis Holmes gown. Organza strapless fishtail and diamante belt.
Photography...
Phil from SugarLove was our photographer on the night. We really like the style of photography produced by SugarLove photographers and Phil did an amazing job on the day. The photos captured all the moments we were expecting (and not expecting) to see after the wedding was over.
Wedding Favours...
Love heart cookies were provided as bombonniere from Polka Dot cookies. They were also used as guest place cards
Memories...
We were lucky to have perfect weather for an outdoor wedding in April and everything went according to our plan. The speeches by our parents and friends were particularly memorable.
Honeymoon...
Straight after the wedding we went to Paris and spent 8 weeks travelling through France, Italy, Croatia and Spain.
Future...
We are currently expecting our first baby due in March.
