Having first bonded over their love of Disney, and later getting engaged at Disneyland, it was no surprise that Daniella and Joseph were going to say 'I do' with the most glamorous and romantic fairytale celebration!
The Fairytale Begins...
High school sweethearts Daniella and Joseph first crossed paths at a friend's party back in their teenage years. Even though they were made for each other, they realised it was love for totally different reasons! Joseph, nicknamed Joey, knew he had found the one when he noticed he was doing things for Daniella that he wouldn't for anyone else. For Daniella, she truly fell for her prince when she found out that he also had a love for all things Disney!
The Happiest Moment On Earth...
Considering their love of Disney, it comes as no surprise that they were engaged while on holiday at Disneyland Hong Kong. As the bride shared, "It made sense to start the next chapter of our love story at the happiest place on earth." Joey proposed at midnight during the spectacular fireworks display!
Pastel Tones And Shimmering Chandeliers...
As soon as the planning began, the couple knew they wanted a fairytale! To bring their vision to life, they incorporated whimsical colours and elements, focusing on pastel pinks, greys, and white tones. Of course, they needed to add in a glamorous element to complete the look! This is where crystal chandeliers and candelabras came in! They were placed throughout the venue for the most magical finishing touch.
The Crew...
The couple was joined by a bridal party of eight, consisting of close friends and family. The bridesmaids wore strapless frill gowns in a majestic blue-grey tone. The groomsmen contrasted perfectly against with groom, each sporting a classic black tuxedo. The groom also looked like a true Prince Charming dressed in his handsome white tuxedo jacket.
A True Cinderella...
The bride wore a custom-designed Steven Khalil gown for the big day. The ballgown style was certainly fit for a princess and featured floral beading which was layered throughout. An extra touch of magic was added with the veil having 'Happily Ever After' embroidered on it. Of course, the look was completed with Swarovski encrusted glass slippers so that the bride could have her Cinderella moment!
Timeless Whimsy...
After the couple said 'I do', the party began! The theme of the reception was timeless whimsy, with the styling perfectly reflecting the fairytale vibe of the day. The round tables placed throughout the venue featured pops of pink, white, grey, and purple florals, and were each completed with soft drapery.
Shimmer And Shine...
Both crystal and floral stands were added as centerpieces, with more shimmering chandeliers hanging over the dance floor for the most glamorous decor detail. The bride and groom both had traditional elements they also wished to include in their celebration of love. This included pre-wedding parties, a traditional mezze feast, and lots of dancing!
Attention Future Couples...
When it comes to planning the perfect day, Daniella and Joseph had lots of advice to offer! They recommend setting a budget that you are both happy with! "The wedding should reflect what you both want, and try not to let others opinions bring you down!" On the big day, they also recommend letting it all soak in and enjoying every moment! As they said, "before you know it, it's all over".
