Table numbers - that practical detail that we either have sorted from the start or leave till last. I fell into the latter category and you'll find our DIY table numbers below -numbers printed on brown card, folded and pulled together with a rope in the middle were actually more effective than I anticipated.
Say it with flowers by labeling flower jars or vases with a tag, miniature chalkboard or even paint directly onto vase.
Personalise your table numbers and turn them into categories instead. This couple used New York street names, but you may like to use places you've visited, pets names, Australian beaches - anything really, it's about being personal.
A picture is worth a thousand words so direct your guests to their seat with a snapshot of you or any distinctive image of your choice.
When there isn't enough room on the table...
If you're lacking DIY energy or creative vibes then just buy it! Stand alone numbers are available at many home ware stores.
Do you have a fresh idea for table numbers? Let us know - we'd love to share it on our facebook or tweet us.
