These high school sweethearts' romantic rural wedding was filled with gorgeous little details and warm country charm.
F R O M T H E B R I D E . . .
We first met...
In year eight at High School.
We knew it was love...
Being young and in love at the age of 13, it hit pretty quick!
The proposal...
We got engaged in September 2014. We went for a walk on our favourite beach, and then Ayden popped the question when we got home.
Pre-wedding celebrations...
The night before the wedding, family and friends helped set up the venue, reception, ceremony and we had a lovely barbeque and roasted marshmallows

The photographer...
Our photographer was Chris from Underatreehouse. We absolutely adored him! I originally chose to have an appointment with him because I loved his style of photos and use of natural light. After meeting him and understanding his personality, I knew he would fit in with us, and be ‘like another guest’ and not a vendor getting in the way, and that’s exactly what it was like!
Dream wedding...
I knew I loved rustic, vintage, farm, hessian style straight away. I searched on pinterest and wedding sites for ages and knew exactly what theme I liked.
Ceremony venue...
Our ceremony was on Yarramalong Farm Stay by a dam. My dad made an amazing twig arch for us!
Reception venue...
Our reception was on the same property, under a marquee. It was lovely to be under the stars, have fire pits and lots of handmade vintage games (also made by my dad).
The bridal party...
How many bridesmaids and groomsmen did you have? What was their relation to you? We had one each. My maid of honour was my best friend from aerial (lyra and silk) fitness, and Aydens best man was his friend from the age of 10. I have also been friends with Ayden's best man since the age of 11, but Ayden and I didn’t know each other then.
The bridesmaids wore...
Sara wore a Forever New maxi dress
The groom and groomsmen wore...
Jason wore a white buttoned up shirt, and a black suit, with a black tie.
The wedding dress...
My gown was from Bridal Outlet in Somersby. It was an A-line style dress and I had a crystal belt around my waist.
Wedding flowers...
My florist ‘Emma’s Floral Designs’ actually chose my flowers. I know vendors see so many different designs, so I knew she would know what works and what doesn’t. So I told her the theme of my wedding and she designed the most beautiful bouquet with whites, light pinks and succulents! It was very amazing.
Reception venue decor...
We all worked together the day before our wedding to set everything up. We had white table cloths, with hessian runners placed on top. For the centrepieces my Dad chopped down a tree and lacquered stumps and we had gold lanterns with candles, succulents and tea lights on top.
On the menu...
We had nibbles, cakes and cheeses placed around the marquee. We did not have a seating plan, we wanted everyone to mingle and have fun. Our catering brought mini burgers and bruschetta, and for mains we had woodfire pizzas and woodfire dessert pizzas.
Bonbonniere...
We had mini jelly bean jars with hessian tied on top with a personalised wooden love heart that said Ayden & Kiarne Randall 19.09.15
Memorable moments...
The whole day went so fast, but everyone had such a blast. Because our wedding was so carefree and unstructured, everyone had such a fun time, playing music on the juke box, dancing on the dance floor, playing lawn games and running a muck/
Wedding Soundtrack...
We had Married Life (Disney Pixar's 'Up' Theme song), If I ever leave this world alive (Flogging Molly, it has been our song since our first year of being together) and This old Love.

Honeymoon...
We had our honeymoon in America. We went to Los Angeles and went to Disneyland and San Diego Zoo, as well as doing Hollywood, then we flew over to Orlando, and did all 6 Disney World parks, and we had a weeks cruise around the Caribbean.
The future...
We are currently fixing up our first house we bought at 20, and then we hope to do more travel.
In 40 years you hope to…
Be happy with everything we have done! and Relax!!! We got together at 13, Engaged at 20, Travelled Europe at 20, Bought our first house at 20, Married at 22, Travelled USA at 22, and now we are renovating our house, with more plans of travel in the future! So with 40 years I hope to be happy with everything we have accomplished!

Advice for the engagement...
Don’t rush the small stuff. You will have plenty of time to organise everything, that being said, don’t leave everything to the last minute! Also don’t ask your best friends to be in your bridal party as soon as you get engaged, wait until closer to the wedding date. You never know what the future holds.
Planning tips..
I had (absolutely... everything) written on an excel sheet I could view on the computer and on my mobile. It was amazing having everything with me at all times. As soon as someone asked a question, I knew the answer. Was also a great way of keeping track of money, and how much is owed at all times (... for those of us who are controlling).
How to enjoy your wedding...
It will all go so fast, so keep your eyes open and enjoy the day!
