Give them some choice in their dress

There is nothing worse than wearing a dress that you HATE! Even worse when you have to pay a lot of money for it. Each member of your bridal party may have totally different body shapes and it is almost impossible to find a 'one dress suits all' style that everyone will feel comfortable in. Another option is letting your girls choose how they accessorise their look, or letting them wear a pair of shoes that they will be comfortable in. Respect that they have a life outside of planning your wedding

As much as your wedding is the only priority in your life at the moment, it isn't everyones one and only priority. Respect your bridesmaids work requirements and own social lives. Add up the total costs of all your bridesmaids expenses, including their dress, shoes, the hens party, accomodation etc and think about whether you think it is a reasonable amount for them to fork out for your big day.

One way to make each of your bridesmaids feel special is to give them all responsibilities their personalities and interests are best suited to.
