  • HI, I am having a dillemma with the bridesmaids dresses my maid of honour who is my best friend is a large girl she is a size 26 with size H bust and she is quite short, where one of my other bridesmaids is a size 10 but had a double masectomy, then I also have a size 14 bridesmaid and 2 size 8 perfectly petite, I don't know what style could flatter all of them, I have chosen black for my bridesmaids cause it is a 1950's sort of Glamour and Glitz theme, so black and white with lace and diamonds I am in a really hard position to please them all, please help!!   • Hi lovely modettes. I completely changed my mind about the style of dress I wanted, so have a brand new size 14 dress for sale. I have tried ebay, preloved websites and the price on the dress is ridiculously low ($500- I paid $1500). Problem is, NOONE will buy it! Does anyone have any tips on how to sell a dress?   • Is it really necessary to have a cake? Im not keen on sweets and we're having dessert included in dinner. Some people have suggested I have a lolly bar instead but its seems like a lot of effort to organise without a wedding planner when im not that interested. Read more »

  • I feel obliged to have my sister as my maid of honour, but.... I know that she is just not organised enough to do any of the duties aside from standing there looking pretty. Eve tthat could be a concern as to whether she can bring herself to be happy for me enough to smile help! What should I do.
