Anna - Modern Wow style

The experts at The Art of Hair are renowned for their expertise in long hair up-styles. So if you're looking for something stunning look no further.

Hair preparation

We smoothed out hair with KMS Hair Play Texture Blast. We then crimped the whole head.

Before

Step 1

Leave square section out on both sides from top of ear to outer eye area. Comb remaining hair back into an elastic band at lower crown.

Step 2

Divide hair into 2 sections. Allow 60% in bottom section and 40% in top section.

Step 3

Take top section forward and pin down in line with top of the ear.

Step 4

Pin oval-shaped padding low on the nape. Pin a crescent-shaped padding behind ponytail on top.

Step 5

Comb hair over the padding.

Step 6

Use anchor pins to help hold and distribute hair evenly over shapes.

Step 7

Gently place bands just below base of padding at crown and nape.

Step 8

Flip hair under padding to hide ends of ponytail on crown. At nape, flip up inside hair to reduce bulk.

Step 9

Tuck banded section up inside padding to create a short bob effect

Step 10

Take both sides back and knot together. Pin to secure. Leave ends free. Finish with a light spray.
