Q1. What should I look for in a makeup artist?

Look for someone you feel comfortable with. You must be able to make your own suggestions and discuss ideas together. Choose a professional makeup artist whose styles you like – you can ask to see some pictures of past weddings they have done.

Q2. Will they be able to makeup my bridesmaids and mum?

Yes! This is a great way to start your wedding day with a fun makeup session together. Make sure you ask your bridesmaids what colours suit them – one colour scheme often won’t suit all bridesmaids.
Check how much each bridesmaid and anyone else will add to the cost.

Q3. When should I book my makeup artist?

A At least 6 months prior to your big day. Some of the good ones can be booked up a year in advance.

Q4. Will a trial be included in the price?

A Normally the answer will be yes, but check with the artist. Make sure you take pictures of styles you like to your trial. Check out our Galleries to find a look you’re happy with.

Q5. When should I have a trial?

A Organise your trial about one month prior to your wedding to leave yourself some time to make any final adjustments to your look.
