Wildfire Publishing Floral necklace
Materials
- 30cm fine cotton/voile fabric
- decorative buttons
- 1m satin ribbon
- craft glue
- small piece of white felt
How to create
- Download templates
- Cut out six large and 24 small petals.
- Cut out one large felt circle 3.5cm in diameter and four small 2cm circles.
- To make the large flower, fold two of the large petals in half and use a dab of glue to hold the folds in place. Glue the two halves onto the large felt circle so the felt is covered (see image 1).
- Fold the other four large circles into quarters and lightly glue to hold together before gluing to the large felt circle (see image 2). Do not put glue between the top two layers as they will lay too flat. Loosen and arrange the petals by sliding your finger in between them.
- Glue a decorative button to the centre of the flower.
- Making the smaller flowers is the same procedure as the larger one using the 2cm circle base and the smaller petals.
- Lay ribbon out as shown in image 2, securing with a dab of glue before gluing the large flower to the centre. Then glue two small flowers to the ribbon above the large flower.
